lol that place is cursed i guess. i had a lot of creepers spawning inside and blowing up the glass there when i was building it.

I like how it looks when it's destroyed tho, like some ancient ruins or some shit.

Found my old cliff dwellings out in the middle of nowhere and finally found the entrance to my old mines beneath them. I had left 60 iron and 15 diamond, amongst other things, inside a chest at the bottom.

backstory: had good luck tonight, been developing three mines on three small islands, and managed to connect them by sheer coincidence. continued mining and stumbled on a room with torches, a forge and a crafting bench. but no exit.

I'm currently making a texture pack, but I'm having transparency issues. Torches (which I haven't edited yet) have a black thingy around them (in-game). Is it because I'm using black when I should be using an off-shade of black on non-transparent items?

Mm, it may be because I edited in MSpaint. I'll try photoshop.

what hacks / texture packs are used for this?

Mm, it may be because I edited in MSpaint. I'll try photoshop.

I forgot what it's called but you need to use a real paint program that will do transparencies. I know paint won't do textures right for things like flowers, saplings and torches since their texture doesn't cover the entire square.

i'd say it was done in 3ds max or blender or something - there's tools to convert maps into meshes compatible with apps like that.

when I was making my one, i downloaded the painterly pack (the whole pack, not a custom one) and editted the files on photoshop. Easy peasy
