yeah, i was about to say...nothing new here. i doubt kanye's use of the sample will differ that much from this.

i remember reading an interview with one of the dudes responsible for that SNL thing. if i remember correctly, aphex was cool with it, but it was the company who 'owns' the tracks (wasn't warp) who was like oh hell naw.

then again, i might not be remembering correctly at all. :trashbear::cisfor::emotawesomepm9:

Among the other new songs featured in the movie is one called "Blame Game," which contains a healthy sample of the melancholy piano groove in cult electronic musician Aphex Twin's 2001 song "Avril 14th," as well as vocals from frequent 'Ye collaborator John Legend, which the rapper said may or may not make the final cut of the album.

So looks like this will be on the new album. Although maybe it won't have John Legend.

FFS...

So for whatever reason I watched that entire thing.

I'm glad Kanye West has learned from and given up on the style he was doing in heartbreak and 808.

"All of the Lights" sounds like it should win a grammy, plus look at the credits:

"All of the Lights" (featuring John Legend, The-Dream, Ryan Leslie, Tony Williams, Charlie Wilson, Elly Jackson, Alicia Keys, Fergie, Kid Cudi, Rihanna & Elton John)

The meaning of the music video, as primitive as it seems, being Kanye West justifying "fast" women. Hilarious considering the amount of creative energy going towards it.

Regardless, I'm actually looking forward to this album. I've always liked Kanye West's albums as whole's, this seems like it will prolly be good.

That sounds really fucking amateur...
