Fredd-e is alright. he's not so overtly "Twoism cult member", like some of them are.

I mostly just wish Warp Boards of Canada would release some sort of statements or something about anything ever.

warp announcement would be no help, something from a source closer to the boards could shed some light on what's actually been going on.

So if the music was more important than money, would it not matter if they put it out through Music70? Unless they want to still claw in more capitol, hence Warp might yet be of some use.

That's kind of where I was getting at, but, if Warp isn't causing them problem I don't see the point in BOC releasing under Music70.

It'd be nice if they'd release some of their old shit under Music70 and released new material under Warp. No point in trying to make a profit off of material only fan boys will aprecciate.

The re-issue of Twoism was released under the Music70 imprint, as was TCH and Trans Canada Highway, as will probably be any future releases...

They're still tweaking the Good Friday remix, unaware it was released years ago.

lol

So now we wait for an announcement. Unless that gets delayed too. :emotawesomepm9:

They could at least say that BoC is being a bunch of hermits and not talking to them.

Its really obvious that it is a marketing scheme. I think both MDG and Boards Of Canada themselves have read this topic.

i just think they don't actually have any good new music to release.

they've either not made any cos they've donned suits and ties and have now become boring desk jocky's, or they've just gone shit with age and not made anything decent in 4 years. or both.

*reverse psychology*

They were too awestruck by Tycho to continue releasing music.

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

in all seriousness, i think Com Truise has kinda stole the torch. can't wait to get my hands on something by him on wax

Yeah, that album cover pretty much out-BoCs BoC.

Besides Geogaddi I never really understood what the big deal was about BOC's album covers.

Silhouettes + Filter + Turquoise = MHTRC, TCH, every fake album cover

Photo(s) = Twoism, BOC Maxima, IABPOITC

Turquoise = Hi Scores, Aquarius, Peel Sessions

Shopped Car Manual = Trans Canada

exactly. remember warp saying "you can expect a new aphex album by the end of the year (2009)"

why would it be on warp anyways. wtf is going on with warp

I'm not sure it's Warp's fault, though. Obviously they would want to put out new Aphex and BoC material as soon as possible, not least of all because they're guaranteed sellers, but decent new material is probably not forthcoming.

I don't mind this whole 'mystery' thing, it's a nice antidote to rock and pop star culture, but I wish artists like Aphex or BoC would put out proper albums more often. You can be mysterious but still release musical statements at least every couple of years.
