Music too easy to make now?

But on a personal note I've been playing instruments and using a computer to make music for a very long time, it's a lot more difficult to get out of a computer what I want than a guitar, drumset, piano etc. to be honest.

I had a hard time getting a deep kick drum from my guitar, and my drum set doesn't do very good power chords. Unfortunately, my computer is no help: it comes loaded with useless samples of every drum machine ever, plus choirs and orchestras, as well as virtual analog synthesizers. All of which are unusable.
