Autechre What's your favorite autechre album and why?

i always found chiastic slide's melodies depressing. this thread makes me want to listen to it

with the exception of Cipater, Tewe, Cichli and Recury (which are definetely upbeat "happy" ones for me) it is i'd say a bit ominous.

Pule depresses me, but that's cause I really dislike it.

Untilted. It is this huge, stark, unemotional behemoth machine that has these occasional glitches in which a slight trickle of emotion secretes out of the seams of rusted steel plates

I guess my favorites would be Tri Rep, draft and Untilted. EPs probably Envane and Cichlisuite. I'm not sharing the love for Chiastic Slide as much, and I really dislike LP5 for some reason. But there are some ae-remixes that I like the shit out of.
