So there we are, another year of waiting... This season had both strong and weak points, very enjoyable all in all, and ridiculously shocking/confounding these last episodes. I actually enjoyed the early dialogue centered episodes as well. This story shits on so much out there... Might just have to resort to the books soon..

Lena Headey was fantastic in this episode

Arya doing her thing was awesome too. Was wondering how that was going to work, was thinking she'd have to turn into someone strong like The Hound in order to start getting revenge on people but it really worked well the way she just surprised that dude and gave him a prison style shanking

I see we've all thought of the same thing during what would seem to be the worst cliffhanger of all time, which probably means it also is the best.

Sounds like Martin has to hurry the fuck up now, unless next season focuses on all the other characters (brotherhood without banners, etc)

Using a body double doesn't mean you film someone else and photoshop the actor's head on top. That scene took three days to shoot - body double = everything that's not a closeup/face shot of Cersei

It's gracious of you to explain the process in detail but I went school for video and image editing and know a fair bit about compositing.

I tend to notice these things easy and it's on par with CGI monsters, breaks suspension of disbelief. it's just a bit funny that the official reason was that they couldn't afford to accidentally hit Lena's face and risk stopping production. Other than that it was all pretty terrific, I felt quite sorry for Cersei, and relieved when she got away. Just an episode ago I was cheering for her starvation!
