HBO needs to cut the crap and just show battles and soft(ish)core porn with highly paid hot actresses and actors. Fuck waiting through all these conversations, I read the books.

Titties and Dragons is really boring this season, but I'm only on episode 3

watching the show is much better than reading the fucking book. like a little girl in her nook on a rainy day. reading is for facts. manuals, how-to-dos, news.

Have been getting into the books and thinking about the R+L=J angle, which is about as plausible as these theories get without being directly confirmed. there's some connection between all the Starks and their Direwolves but I don't expect Jon to warg himself into Ghost, it can only possibly be a huge deal if Jon is resurrected by Melisandre since that would mean futurely

It would be a very short warging in my opinion, just to save him. The show could even skip it.

I heard the resurrection process fucks with people's personality so a short term warging is certainly a possibility. It still makes me wonder if that twinkling in his eyes were an indication of that or a sign of his

WTF!? Sounds like Louis CK wrote his jokes.

Pretty sure Louis CK writes his own jokes that aren't terrible repeats of old jokes. Who the fuck hasn't heard a variation on "how do you know someone is a vegan?". He has Louis' type of delivery when he makes fun of people but he's been doing that for a long time

Thought about that twinkling too ! But I didn't came to the same conclusion as you, I just thought it meant his soul left his body. Like, for some specific place. Because why would you even show this if it didn't have a special meaning (other than typical GoT sadism, oh well) ?

yeah, he wasn't doing anything new, but i was surprised at the delivery, he always seems like a little bit less sharp when you plug in to his podcast. Perhaps someone helped him with crafting the material, wording and so forth. Funnily enough that's par for the course with big stand-up performers these days apparently, ghost writing. -sie-

at 1:33 he sounds 100% like the fake evil voice alex Jones used to do on his radio show all the time. Thats literally the first standup video i've ever watched of Joe Rogan now that i think of it. I was always curious about his standup quality since fellow comedians tend to speak highly of him.

Lol

Now that season 5 is over, we can talk about new stuff. Rogan's stand up performance. I'm still willing to bet my money on it that Louis CK helped him out with his performance.

He's had plenty of time to work on his performance and delivery, he's been doing this longer than you think. I think his earlier stuff was a lot better though, like Monkeys in space.

Can we please stop talking about fucking Joe Rogan now? lol

Thought Monkey's in Space was worse than his earlier special. But he's been doing stand-up for 20 years or so already.

Bolton and Seaworth are great (both Irish actors, Bolton is doing a posh Irish accent, Seaworth a northern Enlgish one).

Michael McElhatton (Bolton) was great in this many years ago:

(americans will probably struggle with the accents, and half the jokes may be lost of those not from Dublin).

Tyrion is great too.
