Btw this is set 10 years after Prometheus, and Noomi Rapace has a cameo, so the connections being tenuous at best is my guess.

10 years? So noomi and fassbender managed to fly to the ' creator' planet using a ship of theirs and fly back to humanity in 10 years time? Why do they have cryo sleep again?

I'm sure she'll just be on a video screen somewhere unless it's a flashback, she's probly dead at this point. Fassbender plays multiple droids this time, he's the generic model apparently, like Bishop.

The Alien franchise has always been known for it's great jokes and silly characters. Can't wait to see this.

That felt like an SNL skit.

i quite liked it, the acting wasn't terrible which is a start

still, it'll have to be a lot better than prometheus to live up to the original alien movie

Yeah this seems like the TED scene from Prometheus, not intended for the movie but like a DVD extra

yeah this is a prologue shot by luke scott, ridley's son. it won't be in the movie. i'm finding it difficult to get excited for this but whatevs, i'll watch it.

Oh man before this trailer I was getting kinda psyched, but really not feeling this anymore. The CGI look like absolute horse shit. Feels like Avatar but with Aliens : / 

I'd put aside my feelings towards Prometheus and given Ridley Scott the benefit of the doubt but now I dunno
