AFX at Bloc 2011

So whos all up for this one next week? Apparently you are advised to go into the area he is playing at a good hour before his performance as it will get very packed.

Nah, it'll be fine, it's a rave not a gig! Just turn up a little bit early and you'll be laughing. Last time he was there, he clashed with Modeselektor which was pretty gutting. Imagine they'll be another hellish clash this time.

Also I can report I went for a piss halfway through and got back to the front with no problems! WATMM can rest easy

Is anyone planning on recording this BTW? Not had a new AFX set to listen to properly for ages :)

you can get great video quality of a vado, and the sound isnt *too* bad either.

The main room at bloc is pretty big, plenty of space outside of the main sunken dancefloor area, i never saw it COMPLETELY rammed throughout all of last years festival but I imagine for the 'phex it would get rammo.

are you joking? it was completely rammed during autechre and flying lotus

that wasnt the main room. And yeah that room was rammed for the overkill evening, apart from the 30mins before autechre started. The main bloc room is a lot bigger, assume rdj would be playing in There.

Oh noes! Not too many tweets about The set but the few I saw mentioned brostep, snore fest, retirement, and leaving. :-( hopefully this was only the voice of a few picky festival goers. Cant wait to hear some WATMM first hand accounts.

the people who are tweeting, facebooking and constantly logging into msn really must be having a boring time. Fuck look at that lineup! If i was there i wouldnt have time for liking blocs status every 5 minutes. Fuck that shit.
