Guest Gabriel
"The thing is is that..." Also, there's a Yeah Yeah Yeahs song called "Phenomena" in which the phrase "something like a phenomena" is repeated about 20 times. pylonbitch
redundancies, for example, "well, me, personally." or "i , myself" i hate the overuse of words such as 'obviously' or 'basically' as a sentence starter. i cringe at the use of the word 'females' when referring to women. (females covers the entire mammalian populace.. women is specifically human. 'female' essentially means presenting with the specific features: a cunt and a womb, and imesho demeans women. "i is goin' out tonight to get wit' a female, innit." seems rather unspecific (or unpacific if you prefer)... anything with a vay jay will do. Zephyr_Nova
The phrase "in my humble opinion". You know, unlike all those arrogant opinions out there that other people hold. Mine's totally modest, just so you know. <---Hate that. Sorry to anyone who has a humble opinion on the matter. Guest disparaissant
I do so many things that used to annoy me simply to annoy other people who got more annoyed at me doing them. Like using "p." instead of "pretty," or "yr" instead of "your/you're." I started doing that in conversations with one person just to annoy the hell out of them, and now I do it all the time with everyone and I don't even care. It's p. convenient! Also "def" instead of definitely, haha. Or deffo, even. Oh and I almost never capitalize or punctuate properly in chat. Fuck you, that's why. Guest Babar
mmh okay, that's because the verb "to addict" doesn't exist. "He'd beat the girls and addict them to heroin, before sending them on the streets". SOunds good to me. He addicted her to an emotional and physical craving for his sexual attention.
