How do you guys listen to them?

I listen to it with my ears and like the bits when it goes click click clickity clickclick and then some cool happy synth comes in like WHUUUUMMMM WHAAAAAM.

Basically Cap IV.

Amber-Tri Repetae are of interest to me as a glimpse into a particular era, but not particularly enjoyable for me to listen to. It's everything that came after that I love, starting with Chiastic Slide. Confield is a portal into a whole other world.

interestingly Amber has gone from my least favorite to probably my favorite. or among them.

on the other hand i was really enjoying fermium for the first time on my crappy work van speakers. still sounds annoying on my nice PC speakers though heh

Funny how some tracks can be token differently by different persons, they are both in my fav tracks with foil and nine, listening to it loud at night with a lava lamp is a true pleasure. Amber is still my preferred autechre album

A valve amplifier or preamplifier and some colored lights, lights can bring so much, blue lights for Amber, seriously, this is bliss

Could be much worse they actually look better than my crappy speakers, I've had the same old music center since 1999. I tend not to bother to upgrade until the dam thing actual breaks, but I would like to start a whole setup from the bottom, including an LP player. I'd love to listen to st epreo and os veix3 on vinyl. Not to mention Untilted!

i listen to them loud, whilst my local Belly Dancers get messed up on meth and crack in front of me.

I've slowly been getting into them over the last year or so... I'll listen to stuff, meh over it. Then relisten a few months later and it works for me. I thought I was finally getting into them properly when I got the EP set, but now I realise I haven't listened to them in over a month.

Owell. They're the only real IDM band I /regularly/ listen to.

if you have a hard time getting into the albums then try the lives sets

personally I prefer the newer stuff

Confield I normally listen to lying down in semi dark with earphones. Always a very special experience.

Oversteps I find goes down especially well in the late hours, last hour of contemplation before bedtime
