Recently I have been craving this style of Aphex Twin I've been imagining that's like really heavy and sounds something like garden gnomes and clowns in some kind of war. like they are gulping each other or something and there is like really oozy weird sounds but has kind of an eerily dissonant yet happy melody..

some examples that he's already made that I would say are closest to this style would be like the ventolin mixes..

canticle drawl is also an excellent example

but I'm talking like super heavy, slow beats that would melt your face off if you were tripping shrooms or something

A Flying Lotus Mix Album similar to his live set. But only if it had some care and consideration put it in it, not just some blunted podcast packaged into a Fabric Series entry.

Have you heard his Essential BBC mix? It's, well, essential to say the least

Autechre Rule - Queen are Shite

Aphex Twin - SAW3

Autechre - Remixes Box Set

Boards Of Canada mentioned making an acoustic version of the MHTRTC album, would love to hear that

Trent Reznor - I've Finally Decided To Stop Milking Nine Inch Nails And Just Release A Goddamn Instrumental IDM Album

I know he can do it. And I know it'd be awesome if he did. No guitars, no vocals, no guest musicians, just all digital compositions.

.O.Rang - Loudhailer No. 19

I haven't encountered anyone who gives a fuck about .O.Rang (even people who love Talk Talk), but apparently they've been sitting on this album for 10 years, argh.

Yeah, I never realised before but now that you mention it, that's the side of RDJ that I miss. His recent analog stuff is just too 'clean' compared to the early-mid 90s tracks. I dunno if I'd want him making that kind of music again though.

Zole, the rabid subforum fanboys would probably kill themselves if they heard something like that. Considering how much of an uproar the guitars in TCH caused..

For someone who had just about every Flylo release, mix, demo, etc a couple of years ago I'm ashamed to say I hadn't. The tracklist alone looks sick. Thanks!
