I enjoy Yasutaka Nakata's work under capsule from time to time (he's the guy that produced Pon Pon Pon).

Nakata's in my avatar. :) I really love his stuff. One of the most talented pop producers in the world, I think. His music has this edge of sheer bliss to it that you don't really find in Western pop where everyone's trying to act hard all the time. Plus he has cool electronic/dance influences and can write bangers just as well as pretty pop songs.
