Just got back from the Paris show. Awesome set, very tight and definitely up there with this year's Sonar. No huge surprises but just great great rave, acid and jungle towards the end, ending in noise. Some analord (great mydoom mix) and tuss in there. Richard thumb up and dancing with enthusiasm at the end applause. The rampant hipster vibe didn't detract from the show... But why don't more ppl dance to such great dance music?

Met a few younger fans there, blown away by their first aphex gig.. And talking about their love for digeridoo and SAW. Nice.

F***** lol. That clearly was a dispise gesture adressed to a "pitchford" audience. Richard barely never makes any signs toward the crowd so I doubt I would "thanks" or "enjoy" such a terrible band of hipsters. Don't you think that shooting the audience for nearly two hour in order to distort their faces and turns them into monsters is not inoccent?

The show was ace, it's a fact, but it clearly was sadical and hostile to the public, as often with Aphex Twin, and this is what makes him interresting.

All the times I've seen him minus the very 1st time he's given thumbs up to the audience before quietly departing with his laptop....

doesn't seem unreasonable that he enjoys the attention....

even if you despise a lot of the crowd.

Manchester.

yelling AAAA really straings the voice, and the tiny h really represents the struggle and hardship a vocal chord must endure for yelling AAAA

YES! That is a fairly decent quality recording of the Manchester track as well

It sounds like he's added a few more flourishes. Super clean recording. Just need a continuous mix and I'll be happy for a few more months.

just saw on youtube he played a subtle blend. what a tune

awesome to hear that being played more, one of the videos from youtube the bass from a subtle blend completely washes out the audio on the recording.

squarepusher did that digital delay feedback thing first. So enough of this people bite off of him. He borrows as much as anyone. He does it well mind u
