I hope the three-characters-switching-at-any-time thing turns out to be good. It's certainly going to be a big change during missions. I can imagine I'll feel like I'm missing out on the other characters. Unless they give you cues when to swap, but then, meh. Do I want to complete it three times without swapping? Do I have to swap characters?

It's just so alien to me. It's the only thing I'm worried about... and until I've played it, I kind of wish they'd just had one character and then 2 DLC characters like before.

I'm pretty sure you have to swap (I think I read it somewhere) because each character has his own set of missions... and skills.

GTA San Andreas and Vice City are available for Mac

All the GTAs are available for Windows.

GTA 3 and GTA SA are also available for Mac on Steam. Don't know about Vice City though?

i'm actually wondering if there will be a savepoint in missions in 5. there are so many long missons in previous games that you just have to start over from the beginning if you fail. i'm assuming the missions will get longer and more epic, anyone hear anything about this?

We can only expect the missions to be bigger and better. When they made Red Dead Redemption they said they wanted each mission to be like the "The Holy Trinity" level from GTAIV and given how awesome the missions in Red Dead Redemption were I expect missions to be fantastic in GTAV. Of course, there'll be the classic training missions to get you familiar with the controls, and there will be escort missions, stealth driving missions etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there were checkpoints in the missions in The Ballad of Gay Tony.

Oh, and they've added side missions ala the Question Mark ones from Red Dead Redemption, so I would expect those to take over the smaller main quest missions
