Demonstrators have attacked the German and British embassies. They started fires and tore down the German flag, raising an Islamist banner.

In Lebanon, a KFC fast-food restaurant was set alight, killing one person.

Five people were injured in protests in Cairo, state media said. There are also clashes in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa.

I just made a witty remark about the fact that people are getting killed over a youtube vid. Which is pretty terrible, now that I think about it. Bad me.

heh, i completely forgot about this whole 2012 thing. For most of 2012. Maybe i should start getting paranoid for the rest of the year, but i don't really know what it would involve. I spose there are some obvious things that you would go for, but i can't afford underground bunkers, surrounded by viable farmland with reliable water sources both above and below ground. Nor the half tonne of dried and canned food, and livestock that you'd need to last you through the uncertain times after the event. Whatever that be.
