Are you guys familiar with ZUN? He's a guy who's done a series of shooting games called Touhou Project that's a huge phenomenon in Japan, comparable to Harry Potter or Star Wars. The coolest part is that he's an amazing composer, and there are hundreds of groups who cover his music in pretty much every genre you can think of. The electronic stuff tends to be very dance-oriented and a lot of it is dumb house or trance, but some of it is really good. Here's a couple of his original songs:

I think there are around 1500 CDs from groups covering his stuff, which must make him one of the most-covered artists of all time.

On that note, the main menu track from Demon's Souls was excellent too, but was criminally left off the soundtrack. I've tried scouring the web for a game rip of it, but to no avail.

I listen to the Diablo 2 soundtrack pretty often.
