I find that show a bit hit and miss. When it hits it's great. Reece Shearsmith is great.

Season 2.2 probably my fave of what I have seen.

i felt the same in the 1st 2 seasons... have you seen the 3rd season? i'm only missing the final episode, the first 5 were all very good but 3 and 4 really stand out, at least for me... apparently there's already a 4th season... they're both really versatile actors... sometimes the episodes start and i don't even recognise them, the makeup characterization is also top notch...

Ive seen bits of all 4 seasons. Depending whether im on netflix or iPlayer and which one grabs me at the time.

Need to watch psychoville too. Ive only seen one episode which was kind of hitchcocks rope style.

Never really got into League of Gentlemen though. Maybe I'll give it another go.

Reese Shearsmith is also great in vic and bobs Catterick series.

And in serious role as a wife killer (true story) called the widower.

I would elaborate a little about my love for Reece Shearsmith but am typing on my phone while dealing with a customer at work (on the phone)

Need to see a field in England. Ben Wheatley was on an amazing run until high rise which I had to turn off :(

I'm about to start the 5th season of "The Americans", can honestly say I didn't expect to watch this much of it but it's pretty good.

i just quit brooklyn 99, i guess it stands up there with the past material but i must have grown bitter or something, i don't find it funny anymore, i actually find it despicable and annoying... don't know how last year i had such good laughs with this show...

i also loved the 1st 2 seasons of bojack horseman but right now it's getting so dramatic that i don't find any enjoyment at all in watching it... did i grew up or something? shit, is this what's like being old?

i also couldn't stand vice principals 2nd season, had mixed feeling with the 1st season but could't keep up with this new one...

anyone here seen UTOPIA??? i watched the 1st episode and it was quite entertaining but it seems like it's the kind of show that will go downhill in the future episodes...

really like that actor that's also featured in ben weathley's kill list...

Collateral on BBC

Utter nonsense

seen the first 2 episodes so far. it seems like the writers couldn't decide what it was going to be about.

Both series of Utopia were fucking awesome.

+1 for Utopia! Loved the soundtrack too. I was a little gutted when it was cancelled but I could see it going downhill a bit after season 2.

Finished Altered Carbon. It was alright, totally agree the sister subplot was garbage. I don't mind hammy acting/writing with gore and nudity, would have made for a fun pulp cyberpunk detective show or something. Instead it couldn't really sit on a theme - pulp detective, introspective cyberpunk, low budget sci-fi shot in some forest. A mess overall but the ideas were interesting enough to keep me coming back.

Stoked to watch OA II. The movement thing never bothered me, anyone familiar with Druidic studies will recognize the importance of movement to get to higher planes.

The Utopia guy is doing a TV version of Iain Banks' Consider Phlebas for Amazon. One of his more straightforward actioney space opera works, so should be pretty straightforward to adapt. It has some epic cinematic sequences in there, can't wait to see how they turn out. Banks himself really wanted someone to make a movie out of it, I think the only attempt anyone made to do anything before was a Luc Besson helmed Player of Games which never got off the ground.

David Fincher was supposed to remake Utopia at one point too, but nothing seemed to come of that.

I love the concept of The Expanse.

I love the sound design in The Expanse.

I love the dialogue in The Expanse.

I love the acting in The Expanse.

Yes. The Expanse is pretty pretty good.

I'm going to watch another episode now because the whole of Ireland is on lockdown because of Storm Emma :D

I thought the acting and dialogue of Expanse was pretty bad, but overall an excellent show.. Pour yourself a drink and enjoy, my dude, the snow and wind is gonna be around for a while.

hmm, I've been sucked into The Expanse world so now I love even the bad bits like some odd Avasarala scenes. apple and cinnamon tea poured and ready. Commence Expanse binge :)

Also I'm writing some short sci-fi stories at the moment based in the future when we are colonising the solar system (started them before i started watching The Expanse) so it's like research

Yeah, the acting is pretty bad but I still like it.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.
