The USS Callister episode would be a good pilot for a spinoff..

Hated Metalhead, so flat and that artificial B/W..barf..

basically https://streamable.com/ab6bs

Basically a generic zombie episode without zombies. Still these things exist the only thing fictional is the killer ai that controls them

This isn’t animated. It’s a real robot

Yeah Metalhead was a miss. Still haven’t watched the last episode, but I’ve liked this season more than last.

Yeah overall:

1. Hang the DJ

2. USS Callister

3. Arkangel

4. Black Museum

5. Crocodile

6. Metalhead

Metalhead is probably a series low point for me.

it's literally just Terminator tho

1. Device with possible catastrophic results.

2. Done.

Rinse repeat.

McMafia - cliched Russians & shady, untrustworthy eastern Europeans, Asians, Jews & Arabs, vodka (obviously, cos they're Russians & Czechs), a square-jawed dead-eyed lead, allusions to international levels of crime that probably enlighten the baby boomers watching, but weak moments of tension, clunky as the new slick, you get the rest.

as if the Night Manager wasnt stale enough, BBC tv seems lost these days, endless panel shows, every one of which i wish ISIS would storm in live & slaughter the Tristrams who flood broadcasting with this river of sewerage, at least their radio can still hack it

looking forward to Britannia in a fortnight both for archaeological reasons & cos an ex-Prof was their Druid expert/consultant, although that'll probably end up being about Brexit too

Just watched The End Of the Fxxxing World.  Wasn't expecting much but it was actually really good, like a cross between Badlands and the movie adaptation of Ghost World, but not really.

Watched that back when it was on Channel 4. Not sure I'd class it as really good, but I definitely enjoyed it more than I expected to.

So not only did the showrunners leave American Gods, but Gillian Anderson is out too. Will anyone from season 1 be left by the time they start shooting season 2?

New black mirror season was tacky step down imo. Didn’t connect with a single one of them. Considering the show has been showered with Netflix’s fuck you money, you’d think they’d have spent it on some stronger writing instead of relying on unimaginative production design and vfx. My expectations were through the roof, but.......

i just watch paedogeddon on repeat.

is league of gentlemen worth it? It seems good but every time I’ve tried I’ve fallen asleep. guess I’ll try again. Reece seems the funniest

yes, I found it a great return to tv. Big fan of the originals and the new episodes were fittingly ott and silly.

Just watched the 1ST episode of Blood Drive. Holy shit that was fun. Not sure if it could maintain my interest for 13 episodes though.
