I will go out on a limb and say the Strugatsky brothers (try Dead Mountaineer's Hotel, Space Mowgli and even Roadside Picnic although the last one has some Eastern atmosphere) and Stanislaw Lem (try The Cyberiad and Memoirs Found in a Bathtub). they may not be fully Aphex but I think that their vibes fit together nicely
