Aphex Twin Aphex Twin & Die Antwoord again?

I am still waiting for the Aphex Twin psytrance album.

I would probably agree if it was the case. What we need is something new and groundbreaking and a musician like AFX with a band like Die Antwoord could very likely make such an album.

Yeah im starting to think Richard can't assemble a release that will go beyond Drukqs in terms of blowing people's minds again at that level.. so he's pushing the next "Aphex Twin" release until forever. I feel the same for Tom, but he being different and simply stopping caring about that and keep releasing stuff. Since Go-Plastic - Ultravisitor he's basically stopped pushing the sonical boundaries as far and he's just making those ridiculously melodic albums. At least the new one will be better than his latest ones tho.

Yeah, really good, slower and more melodic music, but hardly pushing any boundaries ala Drukqs release. I guess those times are over.

I bet he's just taking time to finish the best album ever, made from 6 years of dedication. He just wants us to have the best.

drukqs was great. i learned a long time ago not to doubt aphex.

wasn't venetian snares already releasing stuff by then? i thought drukqs was a vsnares reaction (im assuming you are talking about the drill tracks. not the piano and ambient stuff)

he needs to drop this crew, while somewhat unique, its growing old fast!

I could see a collab with Die Antwoord being pretty cool and unique. Their freakshow styles could mesh incredibly well.
