Hey all. First time user here!

I'm looking for some good early 90s electronic albums. I've had a few artists/albums in my collection for a while and I am looking to expand. Here is what I have so far-

(1990) LFO Frequencies

(1991) ORBITAL Green Album

(1991) FSOL Accelerator

(1992) APHEX TWIN Selected Ambient Works 85-92

(1992) THE PRODIGY Experience

(1992) MEAT BEAT MANIFESTO Satyricon

(1993) AUTECHRE Incunabula

As you can see a lot of what I'm into is house driven. I've heard a little of 808 State and The Grid, both intriguing.

this is one of the first electronic cd's i came upon. I took a complete shot in the dark with it, just liked the name and cover and it turned out to be one of my favorites of all time:

^ Feed Me Weird Things wasn't early 90's.

Eh, it's still worth it for being so amazing.

B12 - Electro-Soma

The Basic Channel releases

Oval - Wohnton and Systemisch

X-101

Aphex Twin - On, Xylem Tube EP, etc

Hardfloor's "Human Dominator" and Caustic Window compilation are the only hardcore techno releases I can confidently recommend, I know there are plenty others though. Plenty of jungle and rave I need to discover myself...

Be sure to pick up the BFC/Psyche compilation:

http://www.discogs.com/Psyche-BFC-Elements-1989-1990/release/9939

It's bloody essential and pretty much crosses all genres in those early days.

Check it...

DJ Hype @ Love Of Life - Autumn 1992

I believe you should be able to download both sides of the mixtape after it loads all the way. They are quicktime files.

Very worth your while.

In my opinion the Artificial Intelligence series IS the pinnacle of electronic music, stuff like Bytes , electro-soma and SOSW are ethereal works of art.

B12's archives (and time tourist) always good. You should also check Higher Intelligence Agency.

Talking about compilations you might want to check the Trance Europe Express series which was released from 1993 onward. Don't let the name fool you, it's not trance. The first in the series includes Aphex Twin, The Orb, The Black Dog, System 7, etc.
