messiaen, a decent watmmer that's been here for years longer than you, heard something at the weekend pertaining to the release of the long awaited boc album and thought he'd share it with folks that might be interested, clearly mentioning that it was casual party chat and unofficial info... also made it clear that he's not even a big boc fan so has no axe to grind or point to make...

 

then "some plonkers" start foaming at the mouth, call bullshit and demand justification or proof of authenticity.

 

this is why i hate scoff in the general direction of the boc subforum.

I got off to a bad start with messiaen, as I'm sure I've gotten off to a bad start with the majority of watmmers. But messiaen doesn't seem to stir up shit just for the sake of it. He has tenure, he's mates with another watmmer who I consider a fucking awesome lad, and awesome lads don't be mates with wankers (but then again, he talks to me and I'm a wanker...maybe he doesn't consider me a mate? sorry, emo moment).

messiaen seems sound. I don't question his 'faith' lol in what he has been told, but as with anything BoC related, it doesn't hurt to take information with a pinch of salt if this kind of thing matters to you.

If like the rest of us, that don't really give that much of a shit, if it's coming it's coming.

Just to clarify - no problem with messiaen's drunken post, but the seriousness and speculation that comes after turns my head full of fuck. I better just show my way out of the subforums...

and it wouldnt even be ratting him out, its not like it was a big secret or anything, or he was annoyed i put it on the internt. im sure most of their friends know what theyre upto with their music. i just dont go around putting names and shit on the internet anyway, theres no need for anything more vague than 'a friend'.

and as for the answer to how he knows them, im pretty sure its because they are human beings, and consequently make friends. he happens to be one of them. are they not from down by the borders or something? scotland isnt exactly like siberia, there is civilisation here.

yeah. I always look at radioheads and autechres recent output. They started pretty much at the same time and look where they are and where boc is. its a pity. so much potential so little output.
