Lunice is one of the LuckyMe collective but is from Canada. I've always thought his stuff was weak but live he's great, a showman/DJ from the Dam Funk school of great shows IMO.

TNGHT sounds really promising, hopefully some of their stuff gets taken up with some big rappers.

Sorry to be such a hatah. But I thought that sounded pretty horrible.

i dunno how i feel about those samples... all these MPC-esque beats are just so easy to cook up once you have the gear. maybe i am being overcritical, since i can't make those exact beats myself, but when i jam out stuff like this on my maschine, it doesn't feel like i've actually done much... just made a sample collage with some hi-fi drum samples behind it. hopefully that's more than what they're doing, but that's exactly what this preview sounds like.

Everything sounds fresh and high in quality, the beats sound pretty one dimensional. This EP like a 15 min continuation of Cbat.

Yes, this "song" is in fact intolerable. It's annoying, irritating, blatant, flashy and distasteful piece of shit deprived of any musical quality, composing skills and subtlety. Even if you're into this big sound/phat beatz shit, there's a whole world of music less irritating or vomit-inducing out there.

No, there isn't, but Warp is getting lazy the last few years

I'm not gonna listen to the previews before I get it. Know enough about HudMo and saw a great set from Lunice at Sonar the other year so that's good enough from me.

I remember enjoying his dancing videos too...

A bit meh. Hope he makes a comeback with his next album, Butter had really good stuff.
