Autechre Where should I start?

I've been listening to Aphex Twin/BoC/Clark for a while, and I'm looking to get into Autechre. Any recommendations on where to start listening?

Some people will tell you Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo, but as a new listener I'd start with Freedom of Choice and take it from there.

Seriously though, start with Incunabula, and work your way trough their stuff in chronological order.

Yeah, actually Legofeet is a good place to start. I just get sick of people whinging about Incunabula.

Yeah, definitely go in chronological order starting with Incunabula; it'll be one hell of a ride.

right - doesn't particularly matter, legofeet is perfectly acceptable. don't listen to æo³ & ³hæ first. other then that, start wherever you feel inspired

no problem, we are here to help. autechre can be difficult to get into, some of their stuff needs time and patience.

the great thing about them is they seem to have a never-ending mountain of work to sink into, so once the albums, there's the ep's, then there is the remixes, then the live sets, then gescom. jesus christ lol.

That's probably really the way to do it... I started with Tri Repetae then worked back as well as keeping up with the releases they had coming out.
