What Video Games Are You Currently Playing

i played majoras' mask 2 years ago? and it crashed twice on me after a certain amount of time so i just said f it. i never really got into it as deeply as ocarina, i honestly don't think i'd give it another try.

Runs great on Mac except for a glitch when trying to set it to fullscreen mode. Gets caught in a loop until you command+option+esc then it runs fine.

Binding of Isaac is slowly becoming one of my favourite titles this year, along with Rogue Legacy. Who knew indie titles would fare better than "AAA" games?

Went to paxaus last weekend . Inspired me to sink into more indies than normal again:)

Been playing a lot of Shovel Knight on computer (backed the kickstarter but couldnt be bothered waiting for nintendo aus release). This game gets it right. Its fun analysing just how spot on the game mechanics are (altho the lack of lives does kind of detach it from the general Nes philosophy a little toomuch for my opinion, i would say its pretty much still a perfect example of a 2014 Nes inspired throwback platformer done right!

Also other games. Towerfall: ascension is great multiplayer. Downloaded binding of isaac rebirh today and it seems solid. Controls are pretty spot on to the original so movement is still floaty as fuck but it overall feels a great deal more 'solid' than its flash counterpart. Overall seems good so far..

1001 spikes.. Didnt grab me so much.. It feels less like a classic platformer and more like some weird level memorisation game... Its almost too hard? I guess thats what it was going for but its easy to forget it and not bother picking it up for more cheap deaths/memorisation/frustration routines..

Worth noting that the special edition is EU only as far as I know.

I'm playing it too since it was free on PS+ for PS4.

Not sure yet if the hype surrounding this game is warranted or not... fun, but hasn't 'grabbed' me yet, and the toilet humour (I know, coming from me this is rather hypocritical) is a bit much at times.

yeah i finally gripped isaac yesterday due to ps+. seems like an ugly clunky flash game. enjoying some of my hoarded ps+ games from before i had a ps4 though. strider is pretty awes and dust: elyssian tales would probably be good if it weren't so... furry

anyone played The Swapper? I heard a good review on a podcast.

Binding of Isaac is alright so far but I really can't stand the pixel-like graphics. Nearly ruins the game.

Haha, me too. I played the original for over a month straight putting over 100 hours into it.

The co-op is cool, but not what I thought it was going to be. The second player spawns a 'baby' by stealing a heart from the first player. And if they die, they can steal another heart to keep playing.

Woop, got my first Mom kill Isaac Rebirth

I like Rebirth a lot, it surpasses the original in my opinion. One thing I don't like is that I can't hold down the mouse button anymore to shoot

oh and pressing "mute" only mutes the music and not the sfx, thats annoying too

I never played the original BoI but really enjoying Rebirth. Very addictive. Just one mom kill so far.

Triachus, pretty sure you can hold down the buttons to shoot, and you can control the music and sfx individually? At least, you can with control pad.

Don't hope for much - it makes it look worse, IMO - instead of semi-anti-aliased edges, you get even more semi anti-aliased edges. If you're gonna do pixel art, at least do it right (see: Rogue Legacy or Shovel Knight).

I prefer the pixelly edges too, although the thick lined art style isn't my cup of tea overall. Fun game though, and that's what counts.

Playing Luftrauser on the Vita and oh my word is it fun! Another PS Plus gem (despite the massive amount of complaining I see on the PSN blog every time they announce the games for the month).

Still knee-deep in Elite Dangerous, and it hasn't even come out of beta yet! Finally got me a Cobra Mk. III, no more flying round in the equivalent of a transit van for me... Some travel snaps from this evening's bizness:

Bought lords of the fallen and its completely broken. either crashes or bugs out to like 5 frames a second. no idea whats up with it. i need to try and get my money back off steam.

seems to work ok if i turn all the graphics down to the lowest settings, but with a gtx770 and an i7, that seems like bullshit. it only looks a third as pretty as assassins creed black flag, and i can run that on full settings.

@jase: you are making me want to play this.
