bit at ~0:54 looks like a throwback to demon's souls / tower of latria,

also excited by the mob looking enemies. love in bloodborne how the enemies are generally in groups or patrolling around. going back to demons souls after bloodborne and finding all the enemies standing motionless waiting for you to shoot arrows at them was pretty funny. actually 100% stupid psyched for this upon 2nd watching :):):)

finally finished everything in ffvii steam last nite. beat it more thoroughly than i've ever beaten it before. mastered all materia, beat all the weapons, got all ultimate weapons and limit breaks etc.

think i'll start bloodborne tonite while the missus is away

or maybe i should work on music...

Mafia 3 is a real thing now. Not exactly a return to the style of the first game many people were hoping for it seems (new devs too it seems)... almost reminds me of Saints Row. Could still be fun though.

That's good. The last one was a bit of a train wreck.

Well, in the video they seem to understand the setting, time and place which makes me kind of excited for it.

Mafia II was kind of boring though, it was really beautiful and I really wanted to love it, but the just open-world aspects were just boring and uninteresting, it felt really empty and there wasn't much to do outside of the story-missions, and the story-missions got a bit repetitive after a while and story and characters didn't really grab me.

But they've had time for this, and many sequels tends to improve to a great degree, so I'll be cautiously optimistic for this - simply because Mafia II had a lot of unfilled potential.

I thought I had seen the director's face before - and I had. He made The Force Unleashed.... aaaand the Force Unleashed 2.
