New Nintendo Direct is on. Twilight Princess HD is in March. Also Cloud is coming to Smash Bros... Didn't see that one coming!

i heard the new new zelda game is stilling come out for wii u. am i right?

Yeah. They apparently made it very clear that was coming to Wii u in 2016. If tp isn't out until March I can't imagine it coming out before third quarter

not overly keen to dive back into twilight princess any time soon (not terrible by any means but also not my favourite)..

having said that.. choosing which version to play is always a bother (do i want better controls >> gamecube << or aspect ratio better than 4:3 >> wii <<).

buying the game for a 3rd time will be a nice compromise of the two lol.

About 20 hrs into Shin Megami Tensei IV. Realllllly enjoying it, quite challenging at times. Happy to play an old school style JRPG, lots of grinding, fun negotiating with demons (way harder to negotiate in this one compared to previous games?!).

Can't wait for Persona 5 next year, super stoked.

Nah, you're a wee child who can't wait for official release. Embarrassing. Shove your privilege.

I didn't find negotiation to be very hard, at least compared to SMTIII. That game made it very hard to recruit demons.

I second your excitement for Persona 5. Kind of disappointed that it didn't come out this year like they originally said.

Yeah I'm disappointed too, but confident that's because the developing team is making sure it's an ace release!

I'm finding negotiation REALLY hard compared to past SMT games. Sometimes you have to answer 10+ questions or whatever to get a demon. Perhaps I'm missing a strategy for negotiating or something?

I kind of wish they'd make a follow up to the Digital Devil Saga games though...

Glad to see there's another SMT fan here =)

I'm not sure if there is a strategy, really. I don't recall having to answer a lot of questions. I gave up a lot of items and money, and that's about it. Got a lot through surrender as well.

I have the two DDS games but have never played the second one at all. I never got far in DDS1, so of course there was no point in starting the next game. One day....

I honestly don't know a lot of SMT fans. Most people I know who have played them either hate them or just think they're too hard. I personally think it's the best RPG series around.

The DDS ones are easier than other SMT games, but the story is really well written, and the music etc... I don't know, they're up there with my favorite games of all time.

Anything with the SMT tag on it, I buy (for example Devil Summoner series, DDS, Nocturne, etc).

I find it pretty funny that some of them have a disclaimer from Sony stating they don't represent the content lol. Like it's demonic or something? =/

The only SMT-related game that I don't have that was officially released here is Persona 1. Well, I don't have the PSP or Vita games because I don't own either of those handhelds, and I didn't buy the 3DS remakes of Devli Survivor 1 and 2 because I have the original DS versions. I can't get enough of these games, though.

The Sony disclaimer was necessary because they didn't want parents seeing these games and saying that Sony was advocating "demon worship" or something. I'm glad they don't do that anymore. The demons in these games aren't really even demons most of the time, just beings based on mythology.

this game is looking so good.

New Binding of Isaac character unlocked after an ARG was solved. Pretty cool, more so considering the Lost datamining fiasco

Yeah this will be a remaster of the Gamecube version with Link left handed but in widescreen as well.

Positive Metal Attitude

Played a shitload of Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival this weekend - fun, and really, really deep. Can get a bit repetitive, and of course, you MUST have Amiibo to play it.

been playing Dragon Quest VIII just recently but on PS2.

it's a great game but slowing down cos Fallout 4 came out. Would love to have it on 3DS but i've already sunk in way too many hours to start again now.

DQ8 is awesome.

:catrage:

how many amiibos do you need to play the damn thing? i'd like a good wii party game since mp10 sucks butt

i only have one (the mario pixel figure) and don't have any desire to purchase any more

Picked up Fallout 4 this week, I've only had time to really play a couple hours here and there, but I'm enjoying it so far. The crafting system is pretty neat.

I never finished DQVIII. I got pretty far, I think, and then I started a new job and had to move and never got back to it. I regret that, because if I went back and tried to continue the game, I'd have no idea what was going on or what I need to do. RPGs are so hard to get back into after time passes.

more or less the same for me. got quite far in it went back to it years later and had no idea what was going on or what to do. might be interested in a handheld port but would rather play it on ps4 as it seems like a game that would lend itself well to and hd port

Just finished Dreamfall - The longest journey

Fucking brilliant, even if not exactly a game

Can't wait to play the next one Dreamfall - Chapters

edit: just to warn you by the way, as a game it is total shit - nothing works properly and some aspects of the actual gameplay are a bit annoying - it's the imagination and the scale of the story which I loved, and something about the overall vibe of the thing

"Whoa! Check it out! RO-BIGH-DUHS!"

sigh.. "That's Ribena.."

Why would you play it on 3DS when you have it on PS2 though
