i don't really use fb but a friend of mine had sent me a link to an article about the dc2. i thought it had the potential to be true (like how they released those new c64 pcs). oh well

 

and yeah. wouldn't count on nx being backward compatible. rereleased and uprezzed is the new backwards compatibility

RE: HD remakes - I dunno - Nintendo seems to have steered away from that for the most part, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess notwithstanding...

I've been saying this for years now, but all Nintendo has to do is release a Pokemon MMO game for consoles - keep the graphics cute and retro (or at least X&Y quality), and watch the cash roll in.

thanx, I basically want to play Hyper Light Drifter and Dragon Quest 8, so not too graphics intensive.

I think a Chromecast would work - if your PC is a laptop with an HDMI out, why not just get a HDMI cable of sufficient length?

The HDMI on my laptop is on the left side, and the right side faces the wall so it would be inconvenient with current set up. Steam Link and a PS2 emulator might work, if my Steel Series Nimbus controller will play ball. I have a support ticket into Steel to clarify that.

New 3DS is barely available in the US, it only comes as an Animal Crossing bundle. It's mostly XL only.

To add, looks like nintendo made 4 consoles; nintendo 3ds, nintendo 3ds xl, new nintendo 3ds, new nintnedo 3ds xl, plus 2ds, which for newcomer makes your choise very complicated, when you buy a playstation, you never looking back

PC version of Arkham Knight is great so far despite some gamepad issues with the X360 controller emulator.

I like PES 2016 better than Fifa 16, because i'm PES born n bred.

Everything or nothing was a fun game

Got Fallout 4 for my birthday, binged the hell out of it. The pacing of the start of the game feels a bit rushed and the main questline/story feels a bit wonky at the moment, but I'm enjoying the combat and RPG elements. Base building is pretty fun too.

Why the fuck are they bringing great GBA games to Wii U?? They have to know by now no token Virtual Console games, not even the Mother series can save this system. Bring them to 3DS!

I'm surprised they haven't ported the old Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest games to Wii U yet, they would sell tons in Japan.

i haven't but am curious to. i personally wouldn't use one based on someone else's experience. will have to try one somewhere before i decide to buy one

Nintendo doesn't have the best track record when it comes to naming hardware since the Wii... They should have named it the 3DS Plus or similar, instead of "new" - new becomes irrelevant after about a month. Apple made the same mistake with the iPad 3 aka "the new iPad"

Sort of off-topic - Apple should really drop the "i" business in their product names (they might be starting to, considering the WATCH and TV broke that trend). Just call it PHONE (S, PLUS) and PAD, PAD PRO, and PAD MINI.

the reviews are bad, so I'm just gonna get an Xbox 360 controller and connect with the Win USB nub for Steam Link games. I just made it under the wire to get the bundle with Counter Strike and L4D2.
