Cor certainly looks less appealing that in DS1, you'd need several coats to keep yourself warm it seems ! Still has that awesome spinny tower that makes my stomach field weird ...

Looking forward to playing it circa 2020 (still have most of Demon's Souls and half of DS2 to go)

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

i've still never played any of them. well... i guess i booted up bloodborne once and couldn't get past the first enemy. (some sort of werewolf?)

I think you're 'meant' to die on the first enemy - It's like a From Software trademark: "look this shit is way too OP for you at the moment, but soon you'll be strong enough. Patience my friend"

Think after you die you go to the area that tells you all about souls (or whatever it is called in Bloodborne)

You bought the game and only played it once, that doesn't sound like very good value for money ?!

i got it cheap and fully intend to play it. i just keep getting sucked into sfv tho. finally got above 3000lp!

dark souls 3 is ace, summoned 2 bros to help me out with the big tree boss, was so cool the 3 of us storming the boss, taking out minions on the way, cool risk/reward with the invasion/summon trade off too,as i found out to my cost

I'm still on the second boss in DS1. When the second gargoyle thing comes out and starts breathing fire on me, that's when I get discouraged.

I beat the first boss by glitching it out :catsuicide:

Dark Souls 1 pro tips.

a. YOU CAN DO IT.

b. there's that sick cunt at the edge of the bridge ( the bridge with the red fire breathing dragon ) who will give you a white soapstone.

you can use this to be summoned into someone's game online and help out someone fight the boss. doing this gives you humanity. (the number in the top left of your screen).

c. you can use humanity to reverse hollowing at a bonfire, and become human. being human means you can summon online people + offline NPCs for bossfights.

d. YOU CAN DO IT. spamming the shit out of bosses with summoning people is the easy way to play the game :^)

To add to this, definitely become human for the gargoyles. There's a certain beloved NPC that's SUPER helpful for that particular fight.

you can also use the consumable item "Humanity" to add humanity to your little top left counter.

it feels obvious spelling this out ... but when i first played dark souls 1 i had NO idea how any of this worked and brute forced my way through most of the game completely solo. and it was BUUUUUUUUUUULLL SHIIIIIT HAAAAAAAAAAARD.

Haha, oops - that's how I did it (completed ds1 + dlc solo that is)... Thought it was somehow cheating to summon people to do the bosses!

It's not cheating. Back in the early days of Dark Souls (And probably DeS as well), summoning was a nightmare. It rarely worked and signs were sparse. There was a definite advantage in being independent otherwise you'd be waiting around for signs forever.

Dark Souls then improved a lot (Especially on PC when they moved to Steamworks after the servers shut down), and Dark Souls 2 onwards had much more robust summoning so you were pretty much guaranteed to have people to help you out.

I personally try and solo everything I can, I find it more of a fun challenge and really love helping other people out as a sunbro, so mastering the bosses really helps (Especially when my character wears dumb armor).

Stoked to watch OA II. The movement thing never bothered me, anyone familiar with Druidic studies will recognize the importance of movement to get to higher planes.

afaik i usually place all my cum drops on scientifically sterilized glass slides which are carefully frozen and placed in trash cans throughout the city labelled "for women ❤️ alco" with my social security and phone numbers.

summoning goes beyond just battling bosses anyway, it's all-round fun.

innit

though need to try out the mound maker covenant a bit, it adds an interesting dynamic to the usual summon sign expectations

Not to mention the bosses get an HP boost when you summon help.

^very true, they keep it pretty well balanced. I've only had one boss that I didn't get along with, I'll just say he's a giant, but that fight was bullshit. PvP in DS3 is fucking great so far, lots of fun even if I'm no good at it yet, and the videos I'm seeing online are hilarious.

Playing Chrono Trigger. The PSONE port has the longest load times I've ever seen.

yes, it's awful. i made the same mistake and then just ended up running it in an emu for 10000000000% faster load times

Destiny and Rocket League.

Love Destiny. I'm one of the players that bought it post-Taken King and I can totally understand that the people before TK got dumped on hard but I'm enjoying the game so much that I won't be boycotting it for shit. I'm casual with it so grinding for guns and armour are a prolonged saga compared to the others that do the Raids everyday. Slowly getting up to that rung.

Yeah I'm still having a lot of fun with Destiny. I've logged 350hrs on it though, maybe time to step back a bit. lol.

Add me up if you want to do some raids together sometime. Zsajdba7 is my handle. I'm usually on around 10pm mountain standard time

the only vidya I play nowadays is GBA games on a GCW Zero while sitting on the toilet (sorry for oversharing), now going through Warioland 4. Great game, I love 2D platformers where the focus is more on puzzles and exploration rather than on pixel perfect jumps and skills

Sweet, I can definitely see how you've clocked so much time on there, I wouldn't worry too much!
