Just came here to say...System Shock 2.

It's on Steam for less than £10 so well worth a try. Been patched and all so works lovely even on my shite 2009 dell laptop.

SS2 is one of those games I keep meaning to play but never get round to it. What OS is your laptop running? I tried before on 7 and kept hitting game crashes.

Rocket League.

Possibly DS3 too soon...never played DS at all though...

I have a 4.8ghz i5 and a GTX 690 ready for DS3

haven't played much lately and i took a little break from ranked matches to beat all the trials in sfv. seems like taking that much time off from mika has had messed with some of my timings and ability to recall gameplan in certain situations. went on a horrible losing streak and lost about 700 lp in the last few days >_<

I'm on Windows 10 and it works like a charm so far. Don't expect much graphically. It's more the sounddesign that I'm interested in. It's spooky as fook.

SShock 2 is one of those "bucket list" games. I haven't played it in a good while, but if you haven't yet it's well worth it. Also Night Dive Studios are working on a reboot of the original System Shock. (http://www.polygon.com/2015/11/25/9801434/system-shock-remake-first-look-art)

Finally beat my first boss in Hyper Light Drifter last night. It was the giant toad boss in the Eastern region. Fat bastard keeps throwing fire jars at you and then tries to squish you with a butt slam. But after a few deaths the proper strategy finally becomes apparent.

You have much more mobility in the game on a USB controller than on mouse & keyboard I've found. But that obv won't be an issue when HLD comes out on consoles this summer.

EDIT: Just defeated the Northern boss in HLD. But I bought the mag upgrade for the wrong gun when I warped back to the hub town. Probably gonna venture to the Southern region next.

Revisiting Battlefront II today made me remember about how poor EA's new one is. It's seriously one of the most bare bones games that I've ever played.

got home, dinner, then Dark Souls until 2am. Feel knackered this morning but last day before I leave for the weekend anyway. Fantastic game.

I just picked up the Star Wars Classics bundle on PS4 for $11, man I used to love Bounty Hunter back in the day. I wish this included the Rogue Squadron games, which are on Steam.

Nintendo will most probly announce an English translation of Mother 3 at E3 this year. I can see their marketing campaign now: mothEr3, or Moth3r

4 titles being heavily rumored for NX launch release:

Zelda

Smash Bros Remastered

Mario Maker

Splatoon

Mario Maker 2? Or a refurbished Mario Maker?

hey ... dark souls 3 is really good. took a wee while getting into it and getting past feeling that tickling sensatation of souls fatigue. its like everything thats good about the previous souls games (demons souls through to bloodborne..) rolled into one, polished package :^) :^)

Yeah, it's like they've taken all the best parts of the previous games and rolled them into one lush package. Combat feels so much more tighter than DS2 which was always a tad "floaty". Even BB's speed and agility has found its way in.

My only gripe is some areas and enemies feel a little too Bloodborne at the moment (Even a fair few reused assets from the game), but I've read this quickly passes and later areas look straight out of Dark Souls 1. The hub area is lush too.

Gave Enter the Gungeon a good number of tries and it's pretty difficult. More difficult than Binding of Isaac. And it doesn't have that 'one more try' addiction that BOI has. I haven't got passed the second floor yet.

Once you develop GunLust™, you'll see how replayable it really is - the sheer number of guns, their effects, and the bosses (for me) make this more fun than BOI. Afterbirth DLC may change that, but considering how long it's been out for PC, the surprises are all spoiled at this point.
