It gets easier the more you play it. I remember having a tough time with it at first as well. Once you know the patterns of enemies and how the fight progresses, it becomes pretty easy. It's mostly just in the way for me at this point.

199 usd is a competitive price point.. in the 3ds range but with the lure of the big games like zelda and smash.. going to sell a lot of units for that reason alone methinks

I've been wanting a switch since it came out, this may be a good excuse to get one.

it’d be a bummer not being able to play games on tv (especially in multiplayer context). but if i’m being honest, 99% of my switch playtime is in handheld and i think this would be a totally viable option for a lot of people.

ive played the switch in “tabletop” mode.. resting the thing with the stand and playing 2 player with a friend with the switch on a desk. and it kind of sucks. the screen is too small when you’re not holding it up close to your face and you have to hunch forward and fuck up your back in the process. and this switch mini has an >even smaller< screen. i imagine trying to play this on a table with a friend would be fucking horrible. plus the thing doesn’t have detachable joycons out of the box.. playing in handheld is clearly the priority.

I've sort of considered a Switch. But I've also recently considered buying an electric scooter. Can't have both on my budget though.

you can't play Dead Cells on an electric scooter. 

Just buy a switch and a racing game

Well since you can't detach the joycons from the Switch Lite, you can't play on "tabletop" mode so the stand is useless !

Anybody here tried the Dr Mario phone game ? it's quite fun actually, solo missions not that much but the multiplayer is good !

you can still sync additional joycons and controllers to the Switch Lite i believe, so it is technically possible. but i agree with the sentiment that Rubin Farr is horribly wrong and speaking out of line here .
