If that was his reaction to getting snubbed by the Oscars, then lol. I mean the guy has called the oscars "complete and total bullshit" (or something to that effect) so what does he expect??

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

"It's totally subjective. Pitting people against each other... It's the stupidest thing in the whole world. It was one of the most uncomfortable periods of my life, when Walk the Line was going through all the awards stuff and all that," he told Interview magazine back in October. "I never want to have that experience again. I don't know how to explain it — and it's not like I'm in this place where I think I'm just above it — but I just don't ever want to get comfortable with that part of things."

I think that was when Seth MacFarlane was singing his bit and making fun of him for his comments about award shows, which went something like "you're a great actor, and the Academy hopes you're on your meds tonight".

na it was for when they announced him for best actor nomination

can't believe roger deakins didn't get an award. ridiculous. skyfall was a shitty movie elevated to ownable based purely on the cinematography.

unlike Inglorious, where I thought he deserved it, I didn't particularly like him in Django. Not sure the role, or him, belonged in the movie. Hate to say it but I think he's a bit overrated (anyone seen that Polanski flick he's in...Carnage? I could only watch about 20 mins of it.)

Also: Sam Jackson should've been nominated. He did a great job imo.

His performance in Inglorious was really enjoyable, but there's something about that movie that just doesn't seem right. I'm getting to believe everything about the story revolves around Landa, although this wasn't Quentin's initial intention. Brad is awful, everyone else presented awful acting in that movie, and that, I believe, makes the Landa character stand out so much.

i thought carnage was alright. didnt expect much but it kept my interest

finally saw premium rush and it was everything i expected it to be. total entertaining fluff. the only complaint i have is that michael shannon is actually pretty restrained.

and can we talk about oscars elsewhere.

The Carnage hate is indeed silly but very WATMMesque. It was a filmed fucking play and for that, it was really enjoyable and I lol'd plenty.

i love when you act like you can't comprehend a film being blindly hated on this website. lol of lols.

And Waltz was great in that, too. Playing a very different character than the ones he played in QT flicks.

to the wonder - easily one of the worst films ever made but Its so completely boring and useless you cant even think of much to say about it. guess you could say it looks like a 2 hour long perfume advert but the cinematography isnt even good enough for that, most of its just disorientating shaky cam type shit . guess it was meant to be poetic or something but really ahhahahahah its not. Sort of seemed like they knew they made a really bad movie so they cut it all up and talked over it just to finish the fuckin thing, then threw in at least 5 scenes of a french woman dancing around in a field just to tie things up. The only positive thing about this movie is that they somehow managed to make a movie starring ben affleck that only has ben affleck in it for less than 5 minutes. I can dig that. But other than that anyone who claims they liked anything about this movie is lying - 0.00000000 / 10

Really enjoyed the carnage. The casting was perfect wtf

king of devil's island - grim nordic borstal tale based on real events of 1915... sort of scum meets lord of the flies... young, (mostly)petty criminals are drawn into violent uprising in the face of draconian regime of punishment and corrupt authority. excellent climax, great film. 8/10.

Argo - What? Really not very good. If this was worthy of the best picture nod, then so was Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (which was far superior IMO). I found it insanely predictable and almost without tone. How we were meant to feel about everything? Amused? Anxious? I was neither, but rather indifferent. Hollywood managed to take a pretty remarkable story and turn it into an ABC After School Special. Zzz.

People seem convinced of Affleck's ability as a director and I'm not buying it for a second. Gone Baby Gone was movie by numbers, and The Town was a fratboy wet dream in the same genre as Boondock Saints or End of Watch.

i'm talking more about his "performance" in interviews like this:

[youtubehd]gAK3aUq25fo[/youtubehd]

everything about him strikes me as fraudulent, like he's got something to prove to a producer or executive or daddy. i've always felt this away about jon favreau as well. they make big careerist moves and don't strike me as artists in any way.
