So if you simply slow down an Aphex Twin track and press it to vinyl you will eventually get called out beyond the dismissal of internet music nerds. I'm ok with that. Plunderphonics is an art, not something to excuse lazy sampling for insta-cred and some bandcamp cash.

Yeah. I think Contemporary Tapes got hit. Vaporwave Cassette Club on FB have been posting a few.

On a similar note, earlier this year we released an album by PZA. About a month or so later, I received an email from an artist in France and his label telling me that PZA took one of his tracks, did nothing to it, and released it as his own. He didn't formally send me a C&D, but told me that it would get there if I did nothing. I took down the album and black listed PZA. I haven't released any vaporwave or plan to since.

Actually TVVIN PINEZ M4LL just clarified that Contemporary Tapes wasn't hit... The label is just on hiatus or something.

I’ve been doing the bizcaj subscription… it can be hit and miss, but new music every Friday, hard to beat that!

It comes with the back catalog too. “One Hundred Mornings” and “Advanced Memory Suite” are two of my favorites! Haven’t heard the other one yet. Would love to rap with anyone else who’s got the discography and has dug in more — I’m sure there’s some more gems in there!
