Claude Speeed's stuff fits the bill often, wouldn't sound out of place at all on a DC release. Same with Visible Cloaks. It seems very subjective sometimes, a lot of "vaporwave" is really only vaporwave in name, and likewise a lot of musicians who aren't in the scene put out stuff that is vaporwave in aesthetics and ethos, but is over looked because it isn't self-described as such.

This is awesome!

 

I remember coming across a website of archived early 90s CD-Rom media packs and such. One included like tame but mesmerizing pixelart / highly compressed swimsuit model pics.
