Finally some news.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

Fuck! I really hate it when pitchfork asserts that one band directly is responsible for another band! It's their pathetic way of making their magazine seem prescient and all-knowing, and it's fucking annoying. "The Swedish brother/sister duo's influence can be heard in the likes of Purity Ring, Niki & the Dove, Kate Boy, Chvrches, and more."

Yeah well what if I don't agree with your expert opinion? What if I think what you write is naive and assuming? Why always frame one band in reference to another? It isn't smart, it's lazy, it's boring, it is never ever ever going to be good music journalism.

First track "Full of Fire" here: http://www.junodownload.com/products/the-knife-full-of-fire/2122776-02/

Rumoured track titles and details:

A Tooth for an Eye — 6:04
Full of Fire — 9:17
A Cherry on Top — 8:43
Without You My Life Would Be Boring — 5:14
Wrap Your Arms Around Me — 4:36
Crake — 0:55
Old Dreams Waiting to Be Realized — 19:02
Raging Lung — 9:58
Networking — 6:42
Oryx — 0:37
Stay Out Here (feat. Shannon Funchess) — 10:42
Fracking Fluid Injection — 9:54
Ready to Lose — 4:36

They've taken it down.

There's a 30 sec clip on Soundcloud but not really worth bothering.

I hate all this teasing. Either release something or don't.

Wow, 96 minutes. It will probably be a double then! lol @ Oryx & Crake interludes.

I'll probably refrain from hearing samples until we're much closer to release. I don't need to worsen the Exai syndrome.

crazy looking track times there

Reminds me of Tomorrow, In a Day which I finally listened to for the first time Monday.

I think this is fantastic, almost like an updated Nitzer Ebb 1989 in its relentless and stripped down percussion bonanza.

A little game of cat and mouse going on at youtube...

I think the track will work better as part of the album. I was surprised that for a 9 minute track it didn't seem to really go anywhere. Not that I didn't enjoy the sounds...
