this wore out quick for me too. I think it's the pacing of the album tbh. it's so disjointed.

It's weird. Just recently I've been giving Leila's u&i more spins again recently and have been enjoying that albums sparodic mix of energetic electronic mania and ambience. Perhaps it's a bit of a stretch comparing the two, but I was reminded of Shaking the habitual a little.

The pacing of the knife album really is just a little too demanding. The drone dominates at times and its.... Good. Sometimes. But most of the time it is not good pacing in the slightest!!

Try re-arranging it like I did, it certainly helps.

Still though, outside of A Tooth For An Eye, Full of Fire and Raging Lung, none of the other tracks are that great. They're good; but not amazing.

Wrap Your Arms Around Me is pretty great. Also, sequencing is not an issue, you can choose what you want to listen to and when.

I recognized this album is not for bicycle drives and car routes- you need a certain level of concentration for it, differs greatly from the previous album which is excellent for so many every day situations.

Still love the album as a whole.

Fracking Fluid Injection is for example such a track- you either hate or love it. I like the fact it's basically one tone transposed to Dreijers voice. Minimalistic but effective.
