my guess is that the meaning behind the numbers won't be understood until more records with the other codes have been found

thing in the video just sounds like a number station

I thought the same;

Sounds like a number station recording with some all too familiar BoC pads and flute.

I don't know what to make of this. I Want to believe. But is all this fucking with us really necessary?! Good music gets people talking. But BoC could release a 12" of them farting through a chorus effect and the Internet community would instantly go into hyperdrive! Maybe after all this time they just want to break it to us very slowly?! If they went ride ahead and just released a new album a lot of people my actually just drop dead from the shock!! :-/

seemed like people were jumping too far ahead of themselves, trying to crack the code when we only have a portion of it so far...

can anyone think of what a 36-digit number could possibly signify?

10^36 different things to be precise.

I thought there were just six sets of six numbers

did anyone ever watch Murphy's Law? that undercover cop show with James Nesbitt? season 3 was the best, I never paid much attention to any of the rest. anyway in s3, this guy is about to be killed off by a crime boss but Murphy saves his ass and puts him in a safe house, in hiding, unbeknownst to his wife who thinks he's dead. towards the end of the season, after months in hiding, this guy is allowed to return to his wife but her reaction upon seeing him is less than positive, as she has moved on emotionally (and has actually fallen for Murphy). so when she sees him her eyes go as big as dinner plates and she basically freaks out and flails her arms and screams I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAAAAAAAAD and bursts into tears and locks herself in the bathroom.

this is how I feel about BoC.

After only a few months?

What a worthless fucking whore

36 digits

Base 10 number system

Number of combinations is 10^36

we're not talking about all possible 36-digit numbers

we're talking about a specific 36-digit number that we'll have when all the records have been found

who cares about all possible numbers? why would that be relevant?

faceless and nameless n00bs come and go shrouded in mystery; grooveless vinyls played in covert locations worldwide, I almost see one of the noobs out of the corner of my eye, and then it's gone

...

I walk through the lobby of watmm...usually a comforting place of familiar faces...instead blank-faced guests pass by me, uninterested (for now) in me, all shuffling towards the cold and barren meatlocker that is the BOC subphorum.

the guests..

they watch and monitor.
