I don't, actually. They don't seem like the kind of guys to do this type of thing. Would probably just be an album or maybe like a little free merchandise gag like a poster or something for the first couple of pre-orders.

there is now way this is just going to be some 58 minute release. i have a feeling there is going to be a mountain of material.

I'm more interested in a more direct recording of the sound, and more close-up shots of the groove. I guess it's a very loose spiral, which gives it the appearance of looking blank on a crappy phone video.

Yeah me to, actually, but I just realized how it'd be kind of difficult for them to come up with something unique at this point! - They've created such a retro-cult, everyone else has come up with things all BoC-like, Polaroids, Cassettes, Kaleidoscope ... it seems like at this point, whatever format or motive they pick, everyone can only go "Ah, this old gag, haven't they done that before? - Oh no it was that kid on soundcloud... "

 

I guess when it comes to all things gimmicky, they're gonna be late for their own party!

I bet at least half the people shitting themselves over a new BoC release don't even dig their music that much and are into this thing just because of the money they can make off BoC merchandise, records etc. I hope there's no super limited deluxe edition and they print a gazillion records so it's not as rare as Geogaddi or Music has.

Someone with more time or better paint/photoshop skills can surely do this much better than I.
