I think probably the primary reason it is "orchestrated" is not for cynical reasons, but because they refuse to let us (the fans) fail like we did with Redmoon. So they probably have multiple backups. Meaning, they sent out records, but in the case they weren't all found, they also did stuff on youtube, and on NPR, etc. and in the case we get all the numbers but still can't crack the code, I'm guessing they will drop further hints.

We've already detected one duplicate number so far, so it's obvious they have these backups going. They aren't going to let us facepalm again. I don't see it as sinister or cynical, quite the opposite. They will give help as they deem it necessary.

can this be anything but a watmm wind-up? or does batcock have other origins?

lol are you serious that the image behind that code was batcock?? hahaha, ok, I didn't even see it. In that case I retract my belief in that set of codes. I was pausing the youtube clip and when I paused it, the image behind wasn't clear (could barely see the number).

lawls.

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

i don't, I was replying to fumi and capt. kittinger

FWIW I agreed with fumi's post that I quoted, not against the fun and don't see it as cynical. We're being drip fed as part of a marketing effort. But it IS still fun and interesting... albeit frustrating that we don't seem to have progressed since the Radio 1 code (given the lack of code position for the NPR one). Keen to see where this all leads, but I also doubt that this is some kind of puzzle that can be cracked ahead of when Warp wants us to.

It'll be interesting if they do something totally weird and left-field for this release. They often talk about how stifled they feel by the BoC identity, and how "their next one will really break away from their current sound", but it hasn't happened yet. Personally, I don't need a huge change or big update, I was quite happy with TCH and will be fine with a mild evolution rather than drastic break. But I would be curious to see what they can come up with.

I imagine them looking at all that old logo stuff they've come up with, the cutesy BoC fonts and so on, and imagine them feeling mildly embarrassed. Especially given all the clones that have come out since.

Would be funny if in some part of the film, one of BoC's broadcast clues was heard whilst they were listening on the radio.
I couldn't find any Soundtrack listing for it either haha.
The film looks like it's going to be pants though >.<
