Oh c'mon are you serious!? Why couldn't the US/UK releases get a poster with it. I mean it's a really nice one too. But I already ordered from Bleep...

because there's no Japanese bonus track, I reckon.

Ahh... now it makes sense. Or else there'd be no incentive to buy domestically. Still tees me off though. I wonder how I could get the poster then.

Well you've cleared my mind twice today... lol thanks for that.

Isn't the reason they haven't released anything pre twoism to do with the fact that they the band was comprised of other members? Now that BOC is so famous why would they want to pay out royalties to someone they no longer work with.??

I had thought that too.

However, not too long ago someone on Twoism brought up a point like that, and MDG responded with this:

Any and all early material by BOC was 100% written by Mike Sandison & Marcus Eoin. There's absolutely no question of "legal" regarding the BOC back-catalogue, and any hold-up with remastering or curating early work has been purely down to the time involved

Here is the thread/post for reference: http://www.twoism.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=181397&highlight=#181397

why does Japan always get a bonus? eh?

because it costs more for the Japanese to buy domestically, rather than importing. So as an incentive to buy domestically, there is generally a bonus track.

or goodies in this case.

nice stickers

pet peeve here

nope, not a nice sticker because: the texture repeates itself on every fucking symbol, it's quite noticable

it negates the intention of creating an organic look... and also I find repeating one tiny bit of texture to be cheap and lazy

why not create a texture brush that is at least as big as the type, and then click only once? sheesh

i would be very disappointed if this is an official sticker

come on jules back me up

Oh thanks for responding fizzkinz. That’s good to know. For some reason I thought that ‘Christ’ the benbecula artist (not the other Christ) was a member of BOC at one point.

By the way is that you in your profile picture?

Japanese residents get all of the good stuff, even the girls are prettier over there. Maybe it’s a gesture just to balance out all of the natural disasters they’ve been having. Stickers 4 Disasters

No but seriously, anyone buying from beatink now?

Not the CD version, and it looks like it's the only one that include the bonuses.

if you pay enough attention to the logo further up the page (the one that is being complained about), there's actually no uniformity there at all.

I would've but then it's only the cd version. But then again since I'm not ordering a cd from bleep/US, I could order the cd+extra form beatink. But that's only if I can come up with some money for it sometime soon...

Wow. Nice posters available with orders placed at stores in Japan.

Clearer shots of the artwork too.

Well, that confirms the sunset image is the back cover image...

I think you've got it slightly confused. The cards come as standard.

The sticker only comes with purchases from HMV Japan.

The album cover poster only comes with purchases from Tower Records Japan.

The track list poster only comes with purchases from Disk Union (which is only really located in Tokyo).

And both of the above will not come with per-orders. I've been living here for seven years now and they pull this shit every time. You have to actually go into the stores on the first day and buy the stuff. The cashier at the register then checks to see what freebie you're entitled to.

You can't get the posters from ordering with Beatink.

Sounds complicated. And too much like hard work. The only reason why you'd want this extra BOC gubbins is to sell for a few million dollars to some half-wit in a few years time (which I guess is a bloody good reason lol)

I'm not wetting my pants over some postcards/stickers FFS.
