heard the song through the bleep download before i saw the video. i liked the song already, but the video and the end (with the fly through) is just magic.. wow!

I think it's clear the flyover shots are not shot on the same camera.

The three suns made me think of the holy trinity, and then that made me think of the Trinity site in New Mexico...

Yes. I agree the idea of trinity makes the most sense because it also seems to fit the general theme of the video.

First i was thinking "Three Suns" / "Treason", but that's probably a big stretch. (There was a 40ies pop-band with that name).

And i don't think the symbology refers to the belt of Orion as others have suggested, because the configuration is totally symmetrical.

About three years ago, some scientists found a "potentially habitable" planet named "GJ 667 Cc" in a tripple star system in Scorpio. It's only about 22 lightyears away from us: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gliese_667

About the black border... This is totally not a triangle. It looks like a rectangle. But before we zoom in to the sun(s), we can see that it is most likely above water. Thus it is possible, that the black border actually represents a black square and just looks rectangualar because of reflection.

Black squares are often used to represent Saturn (the black planet) wich is an often recurring meme in music videos, because in astrology Saturn rules the sense of hearing.

Back in a time when music was closly linked with arithmetic, geometry and astrology through the quadrivium, Johannes Kepler associated Saturn with a square (or cube) that has the sun in the center:

First I thought this video was about lost souls wandering the dead earth until passing through the proverbial tunnel of light to meet their maker, then on rewatching, the sudden jerky camera movements and lens flares made me think it was about an alien probe sent to survey the dead earth then return through a jump gate to the aliens who built it, then I though what if that's basically the same thing lol

i think it's about connecting to the spirit world. the structure of the song makes it sound like a ritual being performed.

Maybe it's like that because it is old BoC sound, who knows tough. I do prefer the teaser track to Reach For The Dead.
