So far I'd agree. Nothing special but still very good. It's pretty oldschool and - well - not very up-to-date.

At least not yet. And so far if there is a subtle development then it's pretty small for 8 years. But I am not blaming them. I am just feeling it that way.

And I still the music and will certainly buy the record.

 

No worries - everyone's entitled to their opinion - hopefully after multiple listens, you'll have a different view of it. There's lots of stuff on first listen I dismissed, and afterwards coming back to it, turned out to be some of the best stuff ever!

It was certainly a different sound for them, and I didn't care for the transition into the track, but I still liked it.
