This will be the best year for music of all time.

Better than Bibio? :cerious:

Ah, was this is in the promo video?

"They're about guns, lasers, robots with laser guns in space. Monsters from the future. Explosions. Sylvester Stallone doing a backflip on top of a spike while Robocop carries a ghost up a mountain. Bombs and swords and that... IDM is awesome."

This is probably their best album. Okay, there, I said it.

I think it is, but I've not like their other ones.

Can people stop saying stupid things and/or being stupid please?

What??

Ok, i'll leave this to the fanboys then.

Whaaaat? This supposedly AFX track was the weakest one so far. WTB O_o

It was certainly a different sound for them, and I didn't care for the transition into the track, but I still liked it.

It harshly broke my trip, though. It's still a bloody awesome album. No fears. Trip is picking up again.

Oh, I missed your 'for'. My bad, Foil.

this album is unbelievably epic in scope, soo many nuances and small details, but initial first impressions for me is that its probably the best album ive ever heard from them.

no doubt someone somewhere will be droning on about how TCH is so superior

there seem to be a select band of cunts who never fail to go on about that album

so far if I was going into space for a year I'd be taking this over TCH and i'm only halfway through!!

Not that it's a bad thing, but this doesn't feel as distinctly analog to me. Especially the drums. Anyone think they changed up the techniques a bit?

This is as pretty analog. Don't know what you're listening to.

Yeah im pretty dumb  . I mean the instruments are very obviously analog and there is an distinct amount of sequencing and all the recognizable BoC technique. It has a certain clarity to it though. On past stuff the audio always feels kind like "worn" tape almost. It's the aesthetic.

I don't get that sense here, at least in comparison to their past stuff. It feels clearer than warm tape.
