nah, i've heard his albums. i totally respect the guy and i'm happy he had a career, i just don't find his stand up funny, for the most part. there are a few bits that make me lol though. just, in general, he's more of a public speaker than a comic, and a lot of his observations are a bit...i dunno, teenage? maybe it's the constant reposting of his drug related stand up that i see on people's facebook feeds. rated fine, just boring, imo.

I'm still feeling really on edge about this whole affair. I guess I assumed China or Russia would have tried to stop the continued military involvement in the middle east eventually, i just never thought about what would happen if we got to that point. The UN is meeting tomorrow on their own official assessment of the claimed Assad chemical weapons attack, it would be too good to be true if they outright disagreed with the US assessment. The whole thing just makes me really nervous.

I can't help but wonder if the Edward Snowden event has anything to do with the recent Russia / US relations. Has the US made a real genuine effort to repair the damage done to their image world wide after these NSA revelations? I see no evidence of them doing that, and Putin is milking the current balancing act Obama is trying to play for all it's worth. They may have put the breaks on this temporary blip of a war for now but ... i don't know

Old article by Winston Churchill, guess it might help people understand the reasoning behind John McCain and Lindsey Graham's behaviour. In a lot of ways they are the Winston Churchill of today. And it might make people think twice before dismissing the zionist movement as being somehow in the wrong. BTW I don't see this article as being an eternal statement of Churchill's views, it was written at a time when communism was still seen as a mysterious force by the English. But I see Churchill as being far more pragmatic than McCain and Graham. But that's completely useless. It's useless to say nice things and offer no physical support.
