some say it will be carved up by different factions.. but we'll see. a lot of it is rubble and there's a need for humanitarian aid for all the things.. but probably an opportunity to let syrians decide what happens unless various external forces start a tug of war and cause more strife and tension amongst the various parties involved. 

that seems like how things often go when there's a regime change. shrug. i'm sure trump has an idea of how to solve the problem within 24 hours.
