And then another button, and then a slider, and then draw something and then chain those together and then click the mouse or the keyboard over and over to write in something on the piano roll, and then go fuckit and plug the keyboard in, and then figure out why the latency on the keyboard is shit or why the program can't even see the fucking keyboard, and then watmm when you're frustrated (not a good idea), and then come back to it and press another button, and then pick up the guitar for some immediate feelback. And so on. simple really.

I've found having a USB controller keyboard makes things a lot easier than trying to use an actual synth over midi to control softsynths. That never seemed to want to work.

Sometimes for beats or basslines, (when I don't need velocity sensitivity or aftertouch) it's just as easy to tap it out on the qwerty keyboard as it is to get out a controller.

yo glasse, if i want to listen to what you're making now, what do you recommend? I notice that your bandcamp seems to have older stuff on it. Sound cloud has some nice stuff but what would be the 'lsiten to this fuggin tracks'.

The track on my soundcloud called listlife is the most recent thing I have up. It's from an EP that should be finished up pretty soon, but it's me and another person. I'll post the EP in EKT when it's ready. The Microspektre release is a bit more accessible while Pisgah and Malakh are more experimental.

Cheers, i like volume sweeps, based many songs around the idea myself, shame the track doesn't go anywhere though, although it sounds nice.

I spose that exchange rate makes sense because those beavers have cut down a lot of maple trees. (which would account for an equivalent amount of sap )
