How would you deal with overpopulation

There's too many of us, that's for sure. Pretend you're requested by the Earth Government / Illuminati / Braindance collective / World Leaders to deal with the overpopulation issue. You have full powers. What do you do? Sterilize criminals and/or certain collectives? Impose a child cap? If so, how many per capita? New plague? Holocaust 2.0?

But yeah, there are radical differences. In some countries we have less than 1.4 kids per wife, and in some way more than 4.

i thought the latest un outlook showed that overpopulation trends are improving and it doesn't need to be worried about, mainly because of birth control.

Honestly we need to think about limiting how many children people have. It's simply suicidal (on a few levels) not to.

But to be honest, we already know the solution to overpopulation.

Give all people in the world media for endless consumption. Internet for everybody. Steam games. www pr0n. This. It already works.

The world must be unfair. This is how it works. You cannot skip evolution and development steps on one side and stop development on the other. It just does not work outside of dream worlds.

if i were appointed by the Earth Government / Illuminati / Braindance collective / World Leaders to look into population, i'd first ask the Earth Government / Illuminati / Braindance collective / World Leaders what gives them the authority to give me the authority to use any means necessary to deal with this 'problem'. 2ndly i'd have to question if this problem isn't their fault in the first place. 3rd, if i were going to go the genocide route, i'd start with the Earth Government / Illuminati / Braindance collective / World Leaders.

Give people incentives for not having children.

Worldwide fertility rates are falling and may continue to fall. A worldwide population of 9 billion + by 2050 is only hypothetical and there is still time for a 'Children Of Men'-style mysterious fertility drop-off ostensibly caused by environmental degradation.

Ideally our population would be culled on a Global scale by a Rage-Virus outbreak. By and large it would weed out the weak, stupid and complacent folks among us on a staggering scale.

I reckon in some far-flung future we'll be able to discern intelligence potential and propensity towards disease, and if any sort of population control is enacted, they'll simply abort the fetuses that don't make the grade via genetic testing.

As cruel as it sounds on the surface, it makes sense if you think about it - only the genetically superior would be born, and no births with any genetic defects would be allowed - not only would this lessen the burden on society in the form of invalid care, but overall the human race would get genetically stronger and stronger each generation with the passing of only the best genes.
