Seeing this thread, i'm guessing a lot of watmmers have changed their political views on a number of issues. Especially on welfare benefits. I'm guessing you like to see an end to those foodstamp programs?

Wow at some ideas in this thread... Eugenics, governement controlling of one of our most basic desire, confusion between smart/usefull to the human race,... I mean did some of you really thought about what you wrote?

China does not need more children. The policy has stopped it from being one mega shanty town and the people that put it in place know this. There is just a crisis amongst the chinese power players who want more kids to go with all the other flashy stuff they own. If you look right down the bottom of the scale many sweat shop workers are in same sex dormitories and so unable to even commit the crime of hanky panky, let alone conceive new life with which to further doom this planet.

Also, as for the OP, of course i'm all for anything humane that will decrease our population. The west of course is already on this bandwagon, just stop immigration into the west so that we have more money to dictate to the rest of the world how best to not breed either. By helping bring them out of poverty by stopping pouching all their doctors and scientists and engineers and educators. Stop pinching their resources and destabilizing their governments. etc. fuck this, time for bed. But you know it's all very easy, but at the same time an huge mental leap for most people, mainly because the media suppresses this issue with all it's might. So there's another part of the solution, have the media ramp up illumination of the obvious disastrous consequences of overpopulation, like global warming. If we still had a 1940's size human population we could be happily burning that coal for a little longer.
