I don't think this is confirmed officially It's speculation from what I understand. It sounds a hell of a lot more like Aphex than it does SP imo.

Yes it's a legitimate answer. Squarepusher announced before the show that he was going to treat the audience with a set of strictly unreleased squarepusher material. How much more legitimate/official of an announcement can it be?

TJ said himself that he had dug out lots of old, unreleased Squarepusher tracks for that show.

Whatever you believe of course, I thought it was afx for ages until that set cleared everything up. I don't think Tom is the type of person to throw in another mans track and label it his own, he already has trouble giving away his tracks to his best mates (according to Vibert that is). It could be them together, but thát IS speculation. That Squarepusher had involvement in it is certain.

On topic: probably going to hate this new DA / Aphex collab, in that live gig video with DA on stage with Aphex he plays the most horrible dubstep stuff with them being idiots around it. The guy also 'raps' a line that says "Aphex Twin wrote this song", or something along those lines. First new Aphex announcement in years and I couldn't care less about it.

The involvement of Cunningham could be interesting though, let's see about that. It could also attract a lot of new idiotic fans that Aphex has been trying to lose since Windowlicker, through the Smojphace EP etc.

No they did not. The songs played in the background are "Akira" and "Blessed" by Koan Sound and the vocal part is from "Jou Ma Se Poes In 'n Fishpaste Jar" by Die Antwoord.

Sorry I was talking about the OP, but I think that song is definitely Aphex, it's too rigid to be an SP song, no offense to SP but I think his drum patterns are random for random's sake at times; not as grounded as Aphex.
